History

The concept of the Minority Health Coalition was born out of desire by a group of concerned individuals, who came together from across the state of Indiana to deal with the increasing disparity between the health care and life expectancy of minorities and their majority counterparts.  The Minority Health Coalition of Elkhart County Inc., and affiliate of the Indiana Minority Health Coalition, a voluntary, Non-profit organization comprised of individuals from various grassroots, health, business, professional, and social service related agencies from the community that have joined together in an effort to provide health related informational services and programs to the minority community.
