Minority Health Coalition of Elkhart County Goals

 

To establish short and long range goals and objectives and coordinate activities that relate to disease prevention, health promotion, service delivery and research on the health of minority people.

 

To reduce premature morality and illness for conditions that black and minority populations are at risk through awareness and knowledge.

 

To improve access to health care and services for minority individuals who are unable to obtain care when needed.

 

To insure that health care services are of high quality, culturally sensitive and sufficiently coordinated.

 

To advocate on behalf of health issues, policy/legislation that affect the availability and quality of health care for minority populations.
